Job Description:

Walker Cole International is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join the Project Management team for a biopharmaceutical company in the Southeast. The role will support a variety of stages in drug development, from Research & Development (R&D) to manufacturing, with a particular focus on MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology), formulation, and small molecule drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing projects, ensuring timely milestone delivery and successful completion.
  • Support teams in MSAT, R&D, formulation, small molecule, sterile products, and solid oral dosage forms, driving project progress.
  • Track project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with goals, budgets, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Organize meetings, document summaries, and action items, address risk management, and contribute to project documentation and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant scientific degree.
  • Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong background in manufacturing science, R&D, formulation, and small molecule development, with experience in sterile products and solid oral formulations preferred.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, work in a team, and manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
