Business Development Manager - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

We are working in partnership with an M&E Contractor to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team in the South East.

Working with a relatively new, innovative contractor with ambitious growth plans, you will focus on winning work within the Social Housing sector.

You will be responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding brand presence covering all of the services, whilst managing existing partnerships and evaluating company business goals.

Business Development Manager Essential Skills / Experience

  • Previous experience working in a business development role within the Social Housing Sector
  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth within the relevant sectors.
  • Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed
  • Displays a client-centred approach
  • An effective communicator who is able to adapt their communication style depending on the audience
  • Highly developed organisational and planning skills, time management skills and written/ oral communication skills.
  • Commercially astute
  • KPI monitoring and analytical skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the industry, sector and marketplace trends
  • Influencing and stakeholder management
  • Advanced IT skills (Microsoft package)
  • Must be flexible in hours of work and travel and hold a full UK driving licence
