We seek an experienced international development research and evaluation specialist to join a team focusing on countering extremism across the Middle East. This role requires someone to provide research support and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of multimedia comms campaigns.

 

 

 

 

The Research Director will be responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of evaluations of multiple communications campaigns simultaneously. Generally, these evaluation strategies will make use of qualitative and quantitative research and incorporating digital insights.

 

 

 

We require:

 

 

 

Minimum 5 years relevant research, monitoring and evaluation experience Experience in evaluating behavioural change Experience working on projects in developing countries, fragile states and conflict zones is extremely advantageous Experience designing and conducting both quantitative and qualitative research studies Experience managing research projects from design to report writing Experience evaluating the impact/effectiveness of multimedia communications Strong quantitative analysis skills (with experience using SPSS, R, Stata, or other statistical packages) Good communication skills including experience presenting research findings and explaining technical concepts to multiple stakeholders Experience designing logical frameworks (logframes) and assessment strategies. Data visualisation skills and experience using data visualisation software such as tableau would be a bonus. Team management experience
