Our client works in conflict zones around the world with often hard to reach audiences and in areas where taking a sounding of what people think is crucial to their clients. They evaluate aid interventions and communication campaigns and help inform policy making. Their clients tend to be divisions of Governments both home and abroad, NGOs and private sector anthropological organisations.

In these times of Geopolitical tension their work has never been more important and as a result they are busier than ever. A fair amount of their work drives at understanding the global power axis and how this plays in different populations across Africa, The Middle East and most recently of course Central Europe. They use primary mixed methods research as well as media monitoring and open source analysis. They unveil public opinions of citizens across the world, covering some of the most important contemporary issues such as security and defence, democracy, and development.

They are ambitious to continue their amazing growth story that has continued to unfold over the last decade and seek an MD to join the team and bring some fresh thinking on how to take the business forward to achieve continued and sustained growth.

You will help with their succession strategy and keep a talented senior team motivated and engaged with fair handed management and objective setting .This team are already high performers and are delivering great revenue streams, but they would welcome an accomplished senior director or existing MD to help them grow and develop their own, and the companies full potential.  We are looking for someone who can evidence previous experience of managing significant research teams and likes to get involved with people. The style will require some personality and is not hands off.

You are likely to be and expert in strategic communications and/or research and be very comfortable in a research agency environment. This is a dynamic company that has lots of moving parts in its delivery so strong decision making and empathetic leadership is required. We are hoping to select someone that all the above appeals to.
