We are seeking a Research Programme Administrator to join the professional support staff at the School of Business and Management at this University London. This role is crucial for delivering programme-module support for the PhD/MRes (Research) programme, with a focus on engaging with students, academic supervisors, and the PhD Programme Director.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating student administration systems and processes to enhance the student-academic cycle of activities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide programme-module support for the PhD/MRes (Research) programme, focusing on student and academic engagement.
  • Work closely with academic supervisors and the PhD Programme Director to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Undertake various research administration tasks and support the Research Manager.
  • Manage and coordinate the student administration systems and processes.
  • Develop data-driven problem identification solutions to enhance the programmes from enrolment through to graduation.
  • Respond to and plan for the growing demands of the School’s staff and increasing student expectations in relation to postgraduate research programme administration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in programme support or administration within an academic setting, preferably in business and management.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Proficiency in using student administration systems and developing data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
