Our client is a Research and Intelligence agency within the Supply Chain, Robotics and Automation industries.

They provide valuable business insights and content through their monthly subscription service (this includes monthly executive summaries, podcasts, literature review, bibliography and more), full 60-page reports and consultancy.

They are now looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious research assistant who loves analysing, blending, and preparing complex data sets and turning them into tangible, invaluable business intelligence!

The Research Assistant’s primary purpose is to assist senior team members in data collection, data analysis and research report writing. Therefore, having both qualitative and quantitative research foundation skills are important.

As you grow in this role, you will have the opportunity to co-author papers, travel internationally, present at various conferences/exhibitions and build irreplaceable skills and experience within research.

Responsibilities

  • Data sourcing, cleaning and analysis.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Research.
  • Creating high-quality graphical representations of data, analyses, and learnings.
  • Assisting with writing reports, bibliographies, and literature reviews to a high professional standard and in a clear, concise writing style.
  • Attending and presenting at conferences and events to stay connected with industry professionals, when applicable.

Experience

  • Experience in a research role or environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in related topic, preferably economics.
  • Experience using STATA preferred.
  • Understanding of research methodologies and their applications.
  • Experience with raw data collection - preferably from audio/visual sources.
  • Familiarity and passion for data analysis.
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal skills, including communication and collaboration skills, and comfortable working within a close-knit team.
  • Most importantly - a passion for data and a curious mindset with an excitement to learn and kick start your career in research.
