This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in the enhancement of their "Report It" function, a vital tool that enables residents to report street cleanliness, highways, and environmental issues within 60 seconds using a chatbot interface.

The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the helm of product development, steering a talented team to deliver an ambitious roadmap that directly impacts the community. Your role will involve working closely with a Google partner to optimise the chatbot, enhance user experience, and streamline the reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for the Report It tool.
  • Make confident, data-driven product decisions to deliver high-impact digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth product delivery.
  • Define and manage product backlogs, prioritising features based on user needs and council objectives.
  • Ensure the Report It tool delivers an intuitive and seamless experience for residents.
  • Work within an agile environment, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience as a Product Manager within Local or Central Government - essential.
  • Proven ability to lead product development, from defining the vision to executing the roadmap.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to navigate complex product environments.
  • Experience in managing digital tools focused on public reporting or community services.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
