At Salt Recruitment, we are assisting a forward-thinking London Borough in hiring a Senior Product Manager to join their dynamic Digital Innovation team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in the enhancement of their "Report It" function, a vital tool that enables residents to report street cleanliness, highways, and environmental issues within 60 seconds using a chatbot interface.
The Role:As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the helm of product development, steering a talented team to deliver an ambitious roadmap that directly impacts the community. Your role will involve working closely with a Google partner to optimise the chatbot, enhance user experience, and streamline the reporting process.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the product strategy and roadmap for the Report It tool.
- Make confident, data-driven product decisions to deliver high-impact digital solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth product delivery.
- Define and manage product backlogs, prioritising features based on user needs and council objectives.
- Ensure the Report It tool delivers an intuitive and seamless experience for residents.
- Work within an agile environment, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
- Extensive experience as a Product Manager within Local or Central Government - essential.
- Proven ability to lead product development, from defining the vision to executing the roadmap.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to navigate complex product environments.
- Experience in managing digital tools focused on public reporting or community services.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience working with chatbot tools and automation is highly desirable.
