The Athenaeum, a prestigious Private members club in Pall Mall is recruiting for aAssistantRestaurant Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Food & Beverage team.

The Athenaeum was founded in 1824 by John Wilson Croker, Secretary of the Admiralty, as a Club for literary and scientific men and followers of the fine arts The Athenaeum has one of the finest drawing rooms in London but its chief glory is its library.

AsAssistantRestaurantManagerat The Athenaeum,you will provide an exceptional guest service experience. You will be an excellent communicator, genuinely care about members & guests and take a pro-active approach to constantly develop. You will have a real passion for food and wine.

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes.

Exceptional service standards with attention to detail

Confidence in a fast-paced environment

An excellent and confident communicator, you need to have a hands-on approach for this role, with a focus on training and developing colleagues

Previous experience in a restaurant, 4/5* hotel, or Members Club

Excellent command of the English language

Excellent team and time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.

Immaculate grooming standards

This role is largely a Monday - Friday role working the occasional weekends.

Contract - 40 hours, 5 days per week
