Assistant Restaurant Manager Kolamba East
Kolamba East is growing and were looking for someone to join our vibrant and passionate
team. Our goal is to set the stage for a culinary journey through contemporary Sri Lankan
cuisine in the heart of London's Spitalfields.
We're seeking a dynamic Assistant RestaurantManager to join us on this exciting adventure.
You must be motivated and supportive with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude to join our
growing business.

Job Description:
- Oversee the smooth operation of service during shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at every table.
- Proactively manage the main dining room and PDR, supporting the front-of-houseteam and maintaining high standards of service.
- Step in to assist with hosting, table service, or other roles as required to support theteam during busy periods.
- Forward planning of Restaurant seating allocations and taking reservations
- Working closely with the management team to achieve a premium diningexperience for our guests.
- Execute the plan in place to meet budgets & driving top line sales.
- Manage team objectives and development plans.
- Step in to assist with hosting, table service, or other roles as required to support theteam during busy periods.
- Supporting the General Manager with bespoke local initiatives and local advertising.
- Handling guest feedback, enquiries and complaints.
About You The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within a fastpaced restaurant environment.
- Experience or interest in South Asian Food would be desired.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, serving between 150 - 250 covers a day.
- Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
- Experience with opening and closing procedures.
- Thrives under pressure with a positive can-do attitude.
- Hard working and loves to help support your teammates.
- Strives for excellence and consistency.
