Working within a stunning venue with views across London, this growing company is seeking a creative, focused and forward thinking individual to join the company on an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend. As the company grows, there is the future opportunity to take on a full time role opening and developing other venues.
As the Bar General Manager, you would be
* Leading and training a team of approx. 30 staff
* Ensuring a high standard of customer service and improving where needed
* Involved and instrumental in new ideas for the winter season
* Creative in marketing concepts and ways to upsell
* Hands on when needed
* Responsible for admin, rotas etc
The venue is currently open 7 days a week, working hours would be 5/7, 40-45hr per week
You as the ideal candidate, would be
* Experienced in a successful small bar/venue group at General Manager or Deputy General Manager level
* Knowledgeable in bar marketing and upselling - constantly looking for new ideas and promotions
* Customer focused with an eye for detail
* A strong leader - someone who can lead and develop as well as motivate the team
* Financially aware
* Passionate and driven - keen to make a success and develop a business
