We are on the lookout for an engaging, dynamic, and experienced Café Manager at an iconic events venue in Central London, to lead our team, ensuring exceptional service, top-notch coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere.

About the Role
40 hours per week,Monday to Friday with flexibility required for weekends
- Lead and inspire the café team to provide passionate and friendly service
- Take ownership of daily café operations, ensuring exceptional food, coffee, and service quality
- Monitor and maintain all aspects of health & safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards
- Assist in delivering special events or catering needs
- Collaborate with the kitchen and support teams to deliver the best possible experience
- Work with Chefs and Management on display, offer and service
- Support the Management of the food and beverage operation to achieve financial targets, ensuring effective stock management and wastage control.
- Make certain you, and your team are customer focused on delivering exceptional customer service, at all times.
- Work alongside an industry leading team who operates with integrity and respect; supporting our community; actively embracing our sustainability and CSR targets.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergen & Environmental legislation.

About You
- A people person who can get to know and take care of their team, client and customers.
- Proven experience in a café management or supervisory role
- Passionate about coffee, food, and delivering exceptional customer service
- Natural leader with the ability to inspire and develop a motivated, high-performing team
- Well-presented, approachable, and able to build rapport with customers and staff alike
- Able to maintain and uphold high standards aligned with the Good Eating Companys vision and values
- Strong understanding of health & safety, stock control, and financial management
- Deliver what you promise to the customer, client and your team.

Since 1999, weve been championing flavour and creating memorable, linger over-able dishes for work meetings, conferences and events.
The Good Eating Company was cooked up around the kitchen table, over several bottles of Ribera del Duero. We had the dream of bringing restaurant-quality food to corporate dining at a time when uninspiring sandwiches and soggy salads were all that were typically on offer.
Since then, the team have been delivering food and drink services to an impressive menu of clients up and down the country.
We no longer work around a kitchen table, but our approach remains the same: moreish food, quaffable drinks and good company.
