What is my role as Gallery Restaurant Deputy Director?

Previous Experience in a Michelin Star environment is preferred.

The Gallery is opened for a luxurious afternoon tea during day time and a 3 Rosette Dinner a la carte dinner.

The Deputy Director is responsible to support the Gallery Restaurant Director for the management of people (50 staff members), stock as well as management of the service . This role requires full knowledge of staff management, guest management, training management as well as being able to take responsibility for all aspects of the room. This includes but is not limited to work schedule management, holiday management, cleaning procedures and process, guest satisfaction, staff satisfaction, uniforms and grooming.

The role is hands on and the candidate must have the ability to organise a large team to work towards a common goal. We are looking for a leader that will strive being with the team and the guests at most times.

Immaculate presentation and a strong eye for details is a must. A previous track record of managing a similar size team in a similar luxury environment is preferable. Experience of afternoon tea is a plus.

Our kitchen menus are designed by Masterchef Pierre Gagnaire and Executive Chef Frederic Don and has a French inspired European style.
