A BIG EASY restaurant Floor Manager is responsible for assisting the GM and the team with the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Their primary role is to manage and coordinate the staff, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure that all operational and safety standards are met. Some of the key responsibilities of a restaurant supervisor may include:

1. They are responsible for assigning shift assignments, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to the entire team.

2. Customer Service: Ensuring exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or complaints, monitoring service quality, and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.Motivate the team to always deliver excellent customer service.

3. Operations Management: Overseeing restaurant operations, including opening, and closing procedures, inventory management, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and monitoring equipment maintenance.

4. Financial Management: This may include monitoring sales, controlling labour costs, and minimizing food waste.

5. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and licensing requirements. Restaurant supervisors may also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation.

6. Training and Development: Leading daily briefings to ensure alignment to create memorable guest experiences. Overseeing trial shifts, holding the team accountable to the BIG EASY Standards.

7. Problem Solving: Handling any issues or conflicts that may arise, such as customer complaints, staffing challenges, or operational disruptions, and finding effective solutions in a timely manner.
