Join Our Team as Food & Beverage Manager (Pan-Asian Fine Dining)!

We are seeking a highly experiencedFood & Beverage Managerwith a strong background in luxury hotels to oversee the operations of our fine dining Pan-Asian restaurant and other F&B outlets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the food and beverage operations within a hotel setting, ensuring that high standards of service and guest satisfaction are consistently met. Ideally, candidates will have a sommelier certification and a deep understanding of wine pairing with Pan-Asian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence:Oversee the daily operations of the fine dining Pan-Asian restaurant, bars, and other hotel F&B outlets, ensuring that all areas run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Service Standards:Maintain and uphold exceptional service standards, ensuring that every guest enjoys a high-quality dining experience in line with the hotels luxury positioning.
  • Menu Development:Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and curate innovative, seasonal Pan-Asian menus that showcase the finest ingredients, and pair with a carefully selected wine and beverage list.
  • Wine & Beverage Program:Oversee the hotels wine and beverage program, ensuring a well-curated wine list, creative cocktails, and beverage offerings that enhance the dining experience. Ideally, you will possess a sommelier certification and experience with wine pairings.
  • Financial Management:Monitor and control budgets for the F&B department, including cost management for food, beverages, staffing, and inventory. Maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
  • Staff Leadership & Training:Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B team, including wait staff, bartenders, and sommeliers, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and motivation.
  • Guest Satisfaction:Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through attentive service, consistent quality, and addressing feedback promptly. Develop strategies to enhance the guest experience.
  • Compliance & Health & Safety:Ensure all F&B operations comply with food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing regulations. Conduct regular health and safety audits and training.
  • Event Management:Work closely with the Events and Sales team to organize and manage private dining experiences, functions, and hotel events.
  • Inventory & Supply Management:Manage inventory levels, control stock, and work with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement of food, beverages, and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in F&B management within a luxury hotel environment, with a focus on fine dining and multi-outlet operations. Experience in Pan-Asian cuisine is highly preferred.
  • Education:A degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is desirable but not essential if offset by significant experience.
  • Sommelier Certification:Ideally, candidates will hold a sommelier license or have significant experience with wine pairings, particularly with Pan-Asian cuisine.
  • Leadership:Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Financial Acumen:Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Attention to Detail:A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
