About the role:
My client is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of London. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurants day-to-day functions, from ensuring exceptional customer service to driving financial performance and managing staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering an outstanding guest experience across the restaurant, bar, and private events.
- Managing financial operations, including payroll, inventory, P&L, and wage cost forecasting.
- Collaborating with the reservations and marketing teams to enhance sales and grow new revenue streams.
- Leading the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth operations, recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety, food hygiene, and company standards.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing high-end, fine dining restaurants or hospitality venues.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction.
- A solid understanding of financial management, including cost control, margins, and payroll processes.
- Expertise in using reservation systems (experience with Seven Rooms is an advantage).
- A passion for delivering a world-class dining experience, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
