We are seeking a dedicated and experienced & wine focused Restaurant Floor Supervisor to join the team of this celebrated Restaurant in the heart of Notting Hill.As a Floor Supervisor, you will work closely with the Manager to overseeing the day-to-day operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service.

A big focus of this role will be to assume responsibility for the wine service within the Restaurant, you dont have to be a Sommelier but a solid base knowledge would be an advantage!

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the smooth running of operations
  • Oversee the Wine service within the restaurant
  • Supervise the restaurant team during service
  • Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of service provided to guests and address any issues or concerns promptly
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery

Requirements:

  • WSET Level 2 + would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a quality restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
