We are recruiting a Restaurant Manager to join the team of a beautiful restaurant in Old Chelsea. The restaurant serves a constantly evolving menu that celebrates the finest British ingredients sourced from trusted suppliersall centered around a renowned calescent open grill.

The menu offers a selection of lighter options, from seasonal salads to seafood dishes, followed by a robust choice of classic grill dishes and our famous Saturday and Sunday roasts.

Alongside serving brunch, lunch and dinner, the venue is popular for events and private hire or weddings in the upstairs drawing room. Total covers are 85.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, youll take charge of day-to-day floor operations and lead a passionate team dedicated to providing outstanding service.

The restaurant is popular with the locals, and having a strong personality and the ability to build rapport & develop relationships is essential for this role to ensure repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Manage staff rotas, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to uphold food quality and service standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgets, cost controls, and sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands-on management style.
  • A passion for food, drink, and delivering memorable customer experiences.
  • Knowledge of budgets, P&L management, and staff training processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.
  • Familiarity with Chelsea and the local dining scene is a plus!
