Kestrel HR is delighted to be working with Graysons to help find an experienced and enthusiastic manager to run the day to day operations at one of their prime West End employee restaurants.
This is a proper restaurant. The meals are cooked fresh daily (breakfast and lunch), and you'll be responsible for leading a team of 15 people.
The schedule is Monday-Friday. The hours are likely to be 7:00 or 7:30am to 3:30 or 4:00pm. There may be some occasional event work outside of these hours, but this will be the exception rather than the rule.

You possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on leadership and team management. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive work environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of front-of-house restaurant operations, working closely with the back-of-house team.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that reflect current trends.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
