- Diagnostic Assessments: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in classic cars. There certainly is no OBD ports on these loved vehicles of the past!
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform mechanical repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system maintenance, and suspension adjustments, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Restoration Work: Restore classic cars to their original specifications or customise them to meet client preferences, adhering to historical accuracy and authenticity where required.
- Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including wiring harnesses, lighting systems, gauges, and accessories, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and any modifications made, to provide clients with comprehensive documentation and ensure historical accuracy.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality inspections at various stages of the restoration process to ensure that work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Continued Learning: Stay abreast of advancements in classic car technology, restoration techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, including fellow mechanics, and restoration specialists, to leverage collective expertise and ensure the successful completion of projects within established timelines and budgets.
