Section Manager

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Section Manager in London, this will be working on the HS2 on multiple Rail and Civils packages for a Tier 1 contractor. They will be looking for someone with an extensive amount of experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent with major infrastructure or Railway background.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring a safe, healthy, environmentally line up with delivery of works.
• Ensuring quality standards are met across all work.
• Ensuring adequate input is provided in the design process with the project.
• Procuring and delivering the ground reduction works.
• Procuring and delivering the site establishment.
• Maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Analyse and interpret works information and have an in-depth knowledge of specific contractors scope of works
• Reviewing documents and paperwork in line with project
• Review of Contractor on-site works compliance to Commitments, HS&E, quality, programme and innovation
• Identifying threats and opportunities, raising early warnings and compensation events in relation to the works.

Person Specification

• Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on a major infrastructure or Railway projects.
• Formal qualification in a civil engineering or construction related subjects.
• Previous experience in a site-based construction role in major construction, infrastructure or Rail projects.
• Good understanding of project planning and construction methods.
