Gi Group are on the hunt for a transport coordinator to join an award winning food manufacturer based in NW10. £14.50 PER HOUR Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Transport Support Coordinator, you will need to:

  • Liaise with customers, transport companies and stakeholders daily via systems, telephone, e-mails, or meetings on all matters relating to the distribution of finished goods.
  • Ensure Purchase orders are received/processed in our TMS and allocated to transport companies.
  • Oversee Purchase Order collection appointment schedules in TMS, communicate with transporters accordingly and ensure Purchase Orders are collected and delivered on time
  • Rebook deliveries with customers, amend Purchase Orders in SAP/ TMS accordingly and reorganise final delivery to the customer with the transporter.
  • Monitor transport service performance by keeping a detailed record on failed deliveries, failed collections and any kind of transport related delays directly affecting customer service targets.
  • Keep track of goods rejected in transit and oversee safe return to Kolak where necessary.
  • Plan, coordinate all essential requirements in relation to Customs / Export & Import, documentations, and execution of legislation changes if and when required. .
  • Be responsible for requests concerning accessorial transport charges and all transport related requirements in relation to Import / Export regulations.
  • Produce regular transport service reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for your Line Manager to review and present in KPI and other executive meetings.
  • Brief your line Manager daily on matters affecting day to day tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
