Job Responsibilities

As a roofer your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Estimating the type and amount of materials needed for the job
• Using technical drawings and specifications
• Fitting materials to ensure the roof is fully weatherproof
• Working to building regulations
• Working safely at heights
• Installing skylights
• Working on historic or culturally significant buildings
• Creating decorative lead or metal items in keeping with the structure.
• Following strict health and safety guidelines
• Working in client’s homes or businesses.

Summary of the position

We are currently looking for a roofer to join our great team you will be responsible for installing and fitting many different types of roofer. Day-to-day tasks include removing existing roofs. You will need to be able to follow technical plans to install or repair roofs. You will need sound judgment and strong communication and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to be patient with dealing with all aspects of your job. You will know how to organise your own workday and you have the will to succeed. You will ensure quality in handling all tasks from start to finish.
