Reception Manager – Members Club - £55,000+Tronc

The Role:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reception Manager to join a prestigious Members Club in London. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the reception team, providing an exceptional level of service to members and guests alike. This is a dynamic role that will involve late-night shifts on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of reception, ensuring smooth service flow and optimal staffing levels.
  • Drive revenue opportunities through reservations, space optimisation, and membership promotion.
  • Lead the guest service and sales teams, maintaining a strong understanding of the club's offerings while ensuring an elevated, consistent experience across all guest entry points.
  • Manage and motivate a team of 15 employees, ensuring they are aligned with the club's vision, service ethos, and performance targets. Lead structured training and development programs to boost team performance.
  • Consistently reinforce the club's brand identity through service delivery, tone, and operational execution, ensuring alignment with the company's vision.
  • Implement and refine systems and procedures to enhance check-in efficiency and overall service standards.
  • Work closely with the Events, Membership, and Sales teams to support club programming and member engagement. Coordinate with Security, Hospitality, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives that improve member retention, efficiency, and commercial performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within members clubs or high-end restaurants.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times and late-night shifts.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining brand consistency.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and acting on revenue-generating opportunities.
