Reservations Manager - Dual site - Boutique Hotel - Up to £40,000

JWR is currently recruiting a dual site Reservations Manager for 2 small boutique hotels in the heart of Central London.

This independent company owning two beautiful small boutique hotels in Central London is looking for a Reservations Manager with at least 18 months to 2 years in a Reservations Supervisor role in hotels.

This role will be primarily focused on overseeing the reservations for the two properties, but it will also include supporting the Director of Revenue, so candidates who want to gain reservation exposure are more than welcome!

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience as a Reservations Supervisor in an hotel
  • A hands on and positive attitude, this company truly nurtures the staff, and they value good results with fantastic training, progression and incentives

What the role entails

  • Liaise closely with other Departments emphasising on excellent inter-departmental relations considering other departmental procedures and policies
  • Oversee the reservations department and all their daily tasks.
  • Identifying and flagging new corporate leads
  • Manage any allocation in Opera and ensure it is updated accordingly
  • Balancing inventory
  • Overseeing room allocations
  • Issuing memos (re. new offers, changes to payment methods, distribution or reservation related procedures)
  • Oversee and where required assist with the Monthly Commission reconciliation
  • Closely monitor events in local area and London
  • Be fully conversant with all operating and computer systems
  • Oversee and manage all responses to guests
  • Assist with Group management
  • Review Promotions productions
