Senior Mechanical Engineer - Plant

Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience of managing belt conveyor systems?

Do you have project experience on major tunnelling, underground, or heavy plant works?

Rate: £500 to £575 per day inside IR35 (UMBRELLA)
Location: West London
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
Contract Length: 6 months +

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading JV on HS2. Due to the nature of the work, only candidates with extensive mechanical engineering experience on belt conveyor systems within major tunnelling, underground, or heavy plant works can be considered for this role.

A mechanical background in belt conveyors (including welding and fabrication), along with experience in underground operations and the heavy plant sector, is essential.

The competencies required for this role are: SMSTS and CSCS (White or Black).

Essential:

• Extensive Mechanical Engineering experience on belt conveyors
• Major tunnelling, underground, or heavy plant experience
• SMSTS and CSCS

Desirable:

• TBM experience
