This is a new position within an established Health Economics & Market Access Consultancy company with a long track record of working with Global pharma, biotech and medical device / medtech clients. This company has enjoyed consistent double-digit growth and are eager to further develop their global customer base by adding an ambitious and energetic Business Development manager to the team.

Previous experience of business development within health economics, outcomes research or market access is essential and this position will focus on developing new and existing client relationships; identifying opportunities for new projects / revenue streams with current clients and proactively finding new prospective clients. Ideally you will have an existing network within the HEOR / Market Access sector and applicants must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the current pharmaceutical / life sciences environment.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Sales & Marketing, this position will be based in the UK and have a global remit. You will work collaboratively with internal teams covering Health Economics, Market Access, HTA and Value Strategy projects and must be a strong team player with a proactive and motivated approach to work. This is a sales position and applicants must be willing to spend time researching, identifying and contacting prospective new clients so a confident approach to relationship building, cold-calling and business relationship building is vital for success.
