Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with MUST HAVE experience working within Microsoft Partner Solutions (Microsoft Cloud, DevOps, Data Migration, Legacy App Support). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology services and a proven track record of driving sales and business growth within the SME and mid-market segments. As a Business Development Manager, you will grow strategic initiatives, build opportunity pipelines, nurture partner and client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners in strategic initiative areas.
  • Provide insight into partner programmes, incentives, and platforms to drive growth.
  • Evolve existing propositions and ensure they are communicated effectively to partners.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Target prospective clients within the SME and mid-market sectors.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to implement sales strategies and pre-sales engagements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries in specific areas.
  • No requirements for closing deals as deals will be handed over to be closed.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Provide market trend feedback to shape business opportunities.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Track pipeline progression and report on sales performance.

Key Skills:

  • Must have solid experience in business development or sales within Microsoft Partner Solutions (Microsoft Cloud, DevOps, Data Migration).
  • Proven track record of driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
