Business Development Manager (Cash & Carry/Wholesale)– London – Food Manufacturing £45,000 - £50,000 Salary +  Car

Not all business development roles are created equal. Some will have you managing existing accounts, keeping things ticking over. This isn’t one of those jobs. We need someone who’s wired to find and close new business.

A growing food manufacturer based in London want to make a bigger splash in the national cash & carry and wholesale markets. That’s where you come in.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your main job? Bringing in new business. You’ll be identifying, chasing, and landing opportunities with National wholesale and cash & carry businesses – think Booker, Unitas, Confex and anyone else you can think of in that arena.

This means prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals that build revenue. You’ll be the one out there making it happen, knocking on doors (real or metaphorical), using your existing network and signing new clients.

Who We’re Looking For

  • You’ve got experience dealing with wholesale/cash & carry businesses, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • You know how to connect with people and build trust quickly, as well as being a natural at selling and negotiating.
  • You’re driven to achieve—getting the deal done gives you a buzz.
