Business Development Manager to continue growth in the South East region for this expanding internatinal client. This role is perfect for a driven individual who thrives on building strong client relationships and securing new business opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating prospects, managing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth. Must have a background in BD within water, energy, oil & gas, transportation and /or telecommunications. Ability to get up to speed on technical products and associated software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust business development strategy to grow our presence in the South East region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including networking, cold outreach, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and aligning our solutions to meet them.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

About You

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within [insert relevant industry, e.g., technology, finance, etc.].
  • Strong network and understanding of the South East region market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region.
