Business Development Manager

Overview
Our client is a leading software development company in the life science industry. The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience, a proven track record in their sales and establish a strong market presence. Our client is open to remote in employees but have availability to come to their Limerick or Dublin Offices on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Seek and capitalise on new business opportunities, including forming partnerships and collaborations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Track and analyse sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present insights to senior management.
  • Develop business proposals and showcase our clients products through both online and on-site demonstrations.
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs, and create pricing proposals.
  • Deliver accurate and detailed sales forecasts on a regular basis.
  • Spot trends and new business opportunities and partnerships. Establish a strong market presence within assigned territories.
  • Collaborate closely with the Go-to-Market and SDR teams to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • Actively contribute to the decision-making process by understanding customer issues and suggesting design alternatives to ensure product success.


Requirement's

  • 5+ years of demonstrated sales experience in the Clinical Research and life sciences sector.
  • Strong networks and established relationships within the Clinical Operations field.
  • Proven success in driving sales and business development within the Clinical Operations domain.
  • Exceptional planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, effectively engaging with executives, peers, managers, and team members.
  • Effective and collaborative team player, possessing high energy levels and a strong drive to succeed.
  • Ability to understand the needs of Life Sciences customers and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field
