Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our security services within the facilities management sector by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and client management, with a strong understanding of the security industry. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth through innovative strategies tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development and Sales:

o Identify and pursue new business opportunities in security services, including manned guarding, electronic security, and risk assessment.

o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

o Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids for potential clients.

2. Market Research and Analysis:

o Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities in the security sector.

o Provide insights and recommendations to shape service offerings and competitive positioning.

3. Client Relationship Management:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

o Act as the primary point of contact to address client inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure high satisfaction levels.

4. Strategic Planning:

o Collaborate with senior management to align business development activities with organizational goals.

Develop a comprehensive business plan for the security segment, outlining key objectives and timelines.

5. Contract Negotiation:

o Lead negotiations to secure profitable contracts while ensuring client satisfaction.

o Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards in all agreements and service delivery.

6. Team Collaboration:

o Work closely with operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with client expectations.

o Provide clear and actionable feedback to internal teams to improve service offerings.

7. Reporting and Performance Monitoring:

o Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.

o Use CRM tools to manage client information and maintain accurate records.

8. Industry Networking:

o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.

o Build partnerships with key stakeholders in the security sector.

Key Requirements:

· Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably within the security services or facilities management industry.

· Strong understanding of security solutions, including manned guarding, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic growth plans.

· Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
