Are you ready to take your career to the next level? My client are a forward-thinking organisation specialising in media, events, and marketing solutions, and they're looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to join their exciting team in London!

About the Role: As their Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving revenue targets for their events. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Sales, you will spearhead efforts to grow new business revenue from the supply chain while also managing existing accounts to maximise stand and sponsorship revenue.

Key Objectives:

  • Exceed monthly sales targets, both as an individual and as part of the team.
  • Craft and execute innovative strategies to capture market share and drive growth.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and savvy online marketing.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that resonate with potential clients.
  • Develop and manage budgets for all business development activities.

What You'll Deliver:

  • Engage consistently with potential and existing clients by meeting agreed sales talk targets.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with your client base, ensuring their needs are met while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records in our CRM system and provide timely updates during weekly sales meetings.

Required Skills:

  • Stellar interpersonal and communication skills for building enduring relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient negotiating skills to close deals effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
