Business Development Manager Apprenticeships

Based out of the Barbican, London 

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus great benefits including employee ownership, 30 days holidays, bank holidays, pension, CPD -  Full-Time (9am-5pm) mileage/parking/trains will be expensed when out to employers

Do you have experience of working with Levy and Non Levy employers and opening doors for management learners in any sector ?

Our well established training provider are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a great track record of selling apprenticeships, securing and nurturing long term business relationships with new and existing clients to generate new starts and achieve monthly targets.  Promoting and selling our clients services across various contracts, maximising levy utilisation and expanding the employer base.  The role involves managing a sales pipeline, generating leads, attending events and drive business growth and support strategic objectives.  No management duties to start however the role may progress into a Team Management role.

Do you have proven experience and a proven track record of selling apprenticeship programmes to Levy paying organisations, a wealth of experience in the Apprenticeship Sector and experience of working in a target driven commercial environment? Would you consider yourself to be a Solution orientated salesperson, have amazing Interpersonal skills and enjoy Influencing and negotiating.? This could be your next best move.

We are looking for candidates with previous sales experience, networking skills, presentation and report writing experience, have a Proactive and consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities include:

  • Offer a consultative approach to employers to maximise of their levy pot
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with employers to identify and sell all training solutions.
  • Manage own pipeline and update the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Plan, initiate and deliver strategic business development that will provide expected outcomes against strategic goals.
  • Communicate effectively with levy and non-levy paying employers to create new leads.
  • Increase sales of training solutions through expanding our employer base across the UK and by gaining new business. Attend networking events to enhance business development opportunities.
  • Working events to enhance business development opportunities.
