We are excited to be recruiting for a national and international organisation that support and strategically advises organisations with their Apprenticeship Levy. They have a very interesting delivery model and are looking for a seasoned, professional and driven Business Development Manager to drive new business but also work with existing clients to maximise opportunities.

There are genuine and lucrative progression opportunitioes and in addidtion to the base salary there is also a QRTLY bonus and the chance to work with a supportive Leadership team. ytou will need to be aresults-drivenApprenticeship Levy Business Development Managerto drive new business growth, responsible for identifying and securing new employer partnerships, with a focus on maximising Apprenticeship Levy utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage with new employer clients to promote apprenticeship solutions and workforce development services.

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR Directors, L&D Managers, and senior stakeholders.

  • Provide expert advice on the Apprenticeship Levy, funding opportunities, and workforce planning solutions.

  • Lead on business development activities, including networking events, cold calling, lead generation, and industry engagement.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the seamless onboarding of new clients.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for business growth.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, ideally within the apprenticeship or training sector.

  • Strong understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy and its implications for employers.

  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and build long-term partnerships.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
