As the key account manager partnering with Local Authority Building Control (LABC's) providing structural warranties, you will report directly into the Regional Director, and you will support in maintaining client needs and work closely with to obtain new business and provide support from quote through to completion. The ideal candidate will be London based and will primarily work remotely when not attending client meetings. Customer growth and retention is extremely important to the client, and as such, they are now seeking a Key Account Manager to join our sales team and support the delivery of service excellence to our customers. Salary: 40k.

Key Responsibilities as the Key Account Manager:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, key business executives and stakeholders and preparation of sales reports.
  • As the Key Account Manager, you will be required to produce accurate reporting of account status
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams internally to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Collaborate with LABC sales team to achieve KPIs while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services long term.
  • Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations where needed.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager or similar relevant role.
  • Experience in successfully generating new business.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding and experience of CRM Software and MS Office.
  • Experience in delivering client focussed solutions to customer needs and requirements.
