Job Summary:Consult Energy are looking for a passionate and driven Energy Key Account Manager to join a thriving commercial team. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic partners, and your expertise will be crucial in managing complex tender processes, making strategic pricing decisions, and driving financial growth through contract renewals and upselling opportunities.
This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with extensive experience in UK energy markets, who is eager to contribute to a growing company while advancing their own career.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex tenders from enquiry to deal acceptance, ensuring efficient handling of bids to secure contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with the Trading Desk to determine optimal pricing and deal structures, tailoring solutions to meet key account needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and exploring new product offerings to drive financial growth.
  • Stay updated on market trends, acting as an industry expert for customers and driving innovation in our customer offerings.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing insights and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs).

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in key account management and commercial negotiations within the UK Energy sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confident, and persuasive with a collaborative mindset.
  • Results-oriented, ambitious, and detail-focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Adaptable and innovative with a customer-centric approach.

Location: London (hybrid working)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
