Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the plant & tool hire industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio with up to 100 accounts, ranging from (phone number removed) million a year in value, covering the greater London region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 5-man team that is rapidly growing to 8.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue
- Provide product knowledge and support to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Experience and skill set required
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the plant & tool hire industry
- Strong understanding of powered access, lifting, access equipment, and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a large portfolio and meet sales targets
- Knowledge of the Greater London region and its market dynamics
Day-to-Day
- Engage with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall company goals
