Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the fire and security industry. This role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000 plus commission and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the fire and security industry
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Conduct surveys and assessments to understand client needs and propose suitable services
  • Work closely with the sales, project, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective account management and new business development
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fire & security sales, including CCTV, access control, intruder, and fire systems
  • Strong understanding of project and service sales processes
  • Previous experience in new business development and key account management
  • Self-disciplined and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Day-to-day
  • Engage with key accounts to understand their requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present comprehensive proposals
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review service delivery and identify opportunities for additional business
  • Stay informed about industry developments and use this knowledge to inform sales and account management strategies
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, account performance, and market insights
