Lean Six Sigma Business Improvement Manager
Hybrid Role - Attend our office based at E16 on average 2 days a week and the rest remote.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Improvement Manager with deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This role is critical to driving process optimisation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within Telent. As the Business Improvement Manager, you will work cross-functionally to identify and implement process efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proven experience in project management, and a successful track record of leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of continuous improvement, equipping teams with the tools and mindset to achieve sustainable operational improvements.
Process Improvement:
- Lead Lean Six Sigma projects, from ideation through to implementation, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Identify and assess opportunities for operational improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, streamline processes, and enhance quality.
- Develop data-driven solutions to complex business problems, enabling smarter, faster decision-making.
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple, concurrent improvement projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Track and report on project metrics, including cost savings, time reduction, and quality improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Change Management:
- Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Engage with and train team members at all levels on Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools.
- Ensure sustainable change by embedding Lean principles within day-to-day operations and establishing best practices.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the success of improvement initiatives.
- Present project outcomes to senior leadership, including quantitative and qualitative impact assessments.
- Ensure that all documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures are kept up to date.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in process improvement, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles.
- Proven track record of successful Lean Six Sigma project implementation, delivering measurable results.
- Exceptional analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with process improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project), data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel) and visualisation software (e.g. MS Visio etc.)
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to see the big picture and develop actionable plans to address critical issues.
- Influencing Skills: Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Change Management: Comfortable driving change initiatives and supporting others in adapting to new ways of working.
