Our client are a well respected trade sales company providing products to a mixture of contractors, house builders, housing associations, and sole traders as well as to the general public.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in their Putney branch to take a leading role within the sales team. The role will involve getting to know the customer base, providing exceptional customer service to ensure repeat business, calling the customers to let them know about upcoming promotional offers, relationship building, providing competitive quotations, and assisting the customers with any advice on the products to help them achieve the best result for their projects. In addition to the sales responsibilities, you will be a Keyholder and defacto Deputy Manager and will be responsible for running the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
The role is a 40 hour working week 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday (day off during the week when working a Saturday which is done on a Rota).
The successful candidate will have experience working within a trade sales environment selling to the target customer base. This may be from working in a big box DIY stores, or from more trade focused companies such as Builders Merchants, Plumbers Merchants, Decorators Merchants, Roofing Merchants etc.

- Basic salary of c29,000
