Salary: £60K - £70K Basic + Commission

About The Company:

Our client is a European manufacturer of poultry and fish products, known for their high-quality products and customer service. With a current turnover of €30M, they have ambitious plans to expand their reach and enter new markets. They have highlighted the UK as a territory of interest and as such looking for an ambitious and driven individual to help launch the business in the UK.

Head of Sales – The Role:

This is a key role for the business as they look to drive growth and enter the UK market. You will be responsible for developing the sales strategy for the UK, and for building and maintaining relationships with retailers and food stores across the country. You will act as an ambassador for the business to ensure a strong brand reputation is built.

Head of Sales – Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the sales strategy for the business focusing on both new business activity and any account management

- Ensure that relationships with key retail customers are managed and developed effectively

- Develop the go to market strategy for the UK and ensure that all systems and processes are kept up to date

- Contribute towards wider marketing strategies

- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on performance

Head of Sales – You:

- Min. 3 years’ experience of working within the food sector

- Strong track record of selling to retailers and distributors within the food sector

- Min. 10 years’ of B2B sales experience
