Our client, an established talent agency, is seeking a detail-orientated Accounts Assistant to provide seamless support to the accounts department. The role offers 2 days WFH per week after probation.


Key responsibilities will include:


• Using understanding of bookkeeping and accounting to support the accounts department.
• Reconciling currency accounts for sterling, US dollar, and Australian dollar.
• Allocating bank receipts for all currencies (sterling, US dollar, and Australian dollar) against client invoices.
• Maintaining spreadsheets with accuracy.
• Checking the accuracy of client royalty statements against contracts.
• Preparing client ledger accounts.
• Processing client invoices; accounts payable and accounts receivables.
• Processing clients’ booking with the accounts system and issuing invoices on their behalf.
• Handling the daily pay run for GBP clients.


Requirements:


• Experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant position.
• Experience working in a creative industry SME is advantageous.
• Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Proactive approach to work.
• Able to prioritise tasks and take the initiative.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of working under pressure.
• Advanced use of Microsoft office programs and spreadsheets.
