We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join my client's finance team on a hybrid working basis. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to expand their experience in finance and accounting within the asset management industry.

Description

  • Assisting with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Preparing financial reports and assisting with audits
  • Collaborating with team members on budgeting and forecasting tasks
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Handling ad-hoc financial projects as required

Profile

  • Prior experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with asset management software is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • AAT qualification or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) preferred
