One of London's premier US law firms based a short walk from Liverpool Street station with to hire an experienced legal Accounts Coordinator on a 12 month FTC.

Hybrid Working - 3 days office / 2 remote

The Accounts Coordinator will report into the Finance Manager supporting a London Finance team of 5 directly working with Partners and Business Services groups. Our client is ideally looking to hire an accounts all-rounder with Elite 3E and Chrome River experience to deal with all accounts payable, accounts receivable and general cashiering duties. 

Accounts Coordinator Key Responsibilities include;

  • Correct code and enter counsel fees, invoices and expenses onto Elite 3E and Chrome River, ensuring invoices are paid in timely manner to comply with SRA accounts rules
  • Ensure all paperwork is filed electronically to the relevant folder
  • Prepare payment run process for direct upload to Bank, ensuring all bank details are correct
  • Deal with the firms Credit Card accounts ensuring all expenditure has been approved and coded correctly
  • Provide excellent customer service by replying to vendor/employee inquiries regarding the payment process in an accurate and efficient manner 
  • Review bank accounts daily and when a bill payment, inform the partner of the receipt
  • Post all receipts and direct debits on Elite 3E
  • Assist with producing weekly and monthly client bank reconciliations
  • Monitor bank balances to ensure the office has sufficient funds
  • Arrange for transfers between accounts when necessary
  • Provide information and documentation to Auditors on the SRA Audit
  • Logging any SRA breaches and informing the London office COFA representative
  • Deal with special finance related projects when they arise

Accounts Coordinator Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years current experience in a busy legal accounts department
  • Woking knowledge of Elite 3E preferred, also using Chrome River
  • Strong knowledge of SAR is essential
