We are a global fashion and clothing business, supplying premium and lifestyle brands to retailers and distribution partners worldwide. Our commitment to innovation and operational excellence has made us a leader in the industry. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable - Europe to take ownership of our AR function and support our customer base across online retailers, high street retailers, marketplaces and distributors.

Role Overview

This is initially a standalone AR leadership role, with full ownership of the accounts receivable function across Europe. You will be responsible for billing, collections, credit control and risk management, ensuring strong cash flow and minimal overdue balances. As the business grows, you will also have the opportunity to build and lead a team of 3, to support expansion across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage accounts receivable operations across Europe, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Oversee billing, collections, credit control, risk management, and account reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement best practices to optimize cash flow performance and reduce overdue balances.
  • Manage credit approvals and risk assessment across a diverse customer base, including online retailers, high street retailers, marketplaces, and distributors.
  • Provide regular cash flow forecasts and AR reports to senior leadership.
  • Work closely with finance, sales, and commercial teams to support business growth while mitigating financial risk.
  • Oversee customer insurance coverage and ensure strong risk management processes.
  • Develop a roadmap for growing the AR function, including hiring and managing a dedicated team in the future.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 6+ years lead experience in accounts receivable, credit control or financial operations.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, including debits, credits and financial reconciliations.
  • Experience / background in accounts receivable in either the fashion, retail or consumer goods sector (or similar)
  • Ideal background: Senior Accounts Receivable Position or Accounts Receivable Managerial level
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred but not essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across finance and commercial teams.
