You will b responsible for providing internal stakeholders with a customer focused, professional finance service. Ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records, including robust challenge and support of the department's operating & reporting financial requirements.

My client is a growing UK passenger and freight rolling stock business.

Description

  • Monthly Internal Stakeholder reporting ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness
  • Month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and overheads analysis
  • For areas of responsibility, challenge the business on its financial performance and drive forward compliance and continuous improvements
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and timely resolution of outstanding matters
  • Assistance in the preparation of shareholder reporting, statutory accounts, budgets and forecasts
  • Attendance and contribution at departmental meetings
  • Analysis of financial process data to identify business efficiency's &/or control enhancements
  • Assisting Finance Business Partner peers as required or directed

Profile

  • An apprentice looking to lanuch their career in finance
  • Strong academic background
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and to meet deadlines
  • Confident and clear communicator
  • The ability to work as part of a team or independently as required
