Finance Assistant / Analyst (Hybrid role) - This dynamic international Aviation business is looking for a Finance Assistant / Analyst to join its busy finance team. The focus of the role is on providing assistance to the UK finance team to their weekly and monthly reporting cycles, working on projects and gaining exposure to the various tasks the Finance team undertake. Key tasks include:
- Preparation, consolidation and review of weekly profit flash reports
- Payroll reconciliations , completion of regular reconciliation for each station for Labour Costs and rental cost.
- Prepare labour and equipment cost analysis
- Preparation of month end accounts and related variance analysis
- Routine physical verification of assets and assisting with governance of asset disposal and transfers
- Review supplier invoices in SUN and completing supplier tracker
- Journal posting including accruals and prepayment
- Query resolution for suppliers and customers investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial record
The successful candidate will have at least a year's experience in an accounting, AP type role and be looking for a position with a more analytical slant. You may also be a graduate, seeking a position offering progression. You will have strong analytical, systems and communications skills as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy team. This is a hybrid position with only two days required in their office near Heathrow Airport. The other three days will be from home.
