Finance Assistant - Creative Industry

Location: London (4 days in office)

We’re looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join a dynamic finance team in the creative sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in financial management within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Accounts Payable & Receivable, including invoice processing and credit control.
  • Assist in monthly financial reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Support month-end closing, including journal entries and fixed asset management.
  • Assist with VAT returns, payroll processing (preferred but not essential), and compliance reporting.
  • Contribute to financial system improvements and process optimisation.
  • Provide support for audits, revenue recognition, and cash flow tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Studying towards or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial software (NetSuite experience is a plus but not required).
