Our client, a well-established company in the Accountancy industry, is seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join their team. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and administration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! �?

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Practise and Finance Manager, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
  • Handle general bookkeeping, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and managing client accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and monthly management reports.
  • Maintain the Central Software system, creating and updating client and employee records, processing timesheets, and generating reports.
  • Conduct fee protection service administration as required.
  • Cover reception duties, answering calls, handling correspondence, and managing administrative tasks.

? To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess one of the following:

  • Experience working within professional services.
  • Ongoing studies or qualified in AAT / ACCA
  • Significant experience as a Bookkeeper or an Finance Assistant.

?? This is a 12-month maternity cover position, starting from October 2024, and ending on December 2025. The successful candidate must be available immediately and willing to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
