Job Title: Finance Assistant - Part Time!

Location: Central London

Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (30 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable / Credit Control:

  • Posting and allocating cash receipts ??
  • Controlling the ledger by utilising statements, email, and phone calls ??
  • Downloading and reconciling self-bill invoices from Managed Vendor portals ???
  • Ensuring credit limits are adhered to and applied in the Sage Accounts system ??
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations �?

Sales Ledger:

  • Raising and posting invoices for Permanent and Fixed-Term Contract placements ??
  • Liaising with consultants regarding contract extensions and resolving client queries ??

Payroll:

  • Assisting the Payroll Administrator with holiday and sickness cover �?
  • Conducting weekly payroll checks ?
  • Running the auto-enrolment pension file and updating the payroll system ??
  • Processing SSP, SMP, etc. ??
  • Maintaining holiday pay records ???
  • Reviewing payroll records to ensure compliance with Agency Workers Regulations ??

Accounts Payable:

  • Posting supplier invoices into Sage ??
  • Arranging overhead payment runs as required ??

Ad-hoc Duties:

  • Assisting with external audits ??
  • Producing Management Information reports ??
  • Providing the business with various financial information as required ??
  • HMRC reporting as necessary ??

Requirements:

  • Sage experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Payroll or recruitment industry experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must have good spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with individuals across different companies and at all levels.
